Princess dreams

Some things are beautiful while the others are precious to your heart. Creations of doshi levien belong to the latter category. The designs have a touch of Indian sense of aesthetics, with vivid colours and ornaments. Initially this bookshelf is made only for 7 books. It's an idea by designer Mike and Maaike to create a shelf for that particular number of books on power and society. It's more about art than about practicality, but anyways it's an interesting idea and more cut-outs could make it worth trying.
