Rules of Feng shui provide harmony and beauty to our homes. According to Feng shui, there are five elements : Fire, Earth, Water, Metal and Wood. Every colour belongs to one of the elements and fills the space with different kind of energy. It’s important to use appropriate colours for certain spaces and right directions of the house.
Fire element colours (red, orange, pink, strong yellow) are recommended for the South, Southwest and Northeast areas.
Earth colours (Light Yellow) are to be used in Northeast and Southwest.
Water colours such as blue and black are perfect for East or Southeast.
Metal colours as white and grey are suitable for West and Northwest areas.
Wooden shades (brown, green) are good for spaces in South or East.
